Albany Park Community Area shares its northern border with North Park Community Area and begins at Foster Ave (5200N) and Cicero Ave (4800W) heading East to Keeler Ave (4200W), South to Carmen Ave (5100N), East to Kedvale Ave (4134W), South to Argyle St (5000N), East to Pulaski Rd (4000W), then North back to Foster Ave heading East. The northern border continues along the North Branch of the Chicago River from where Foster Ave crosses the river (approximately 3950W) down to the intersection of the North Branch of the Chicago River and North Shore Channel (5100N & 3000W). The East border, from here, continues South down the North Branch of the Chicago River to Montrose Ave (4400N) and is shared with Lincoln Square Community Area. The western edge of Albany Park Community Area is Cicero Ave between Foster Ave and Lawrence Ave (4800N), shared with Forest Glen Community Area. The South border, common to Irving Park Community Area, starts at Lawrence and Cicero Aves, East to Kostner Ave (4400W), South to Elston Ave, SE to Montrose Ave, and East to the North Branch of the Chicago River.
