Belmont Cragin Community Area, like its western neighbor Montclare Community Area, has a South border that follows the Metra Milwaukee District West Line; it extends from Kenton Ave (4600W) at 1800N, westward to the 6600W coordinate and is common to Austin Community Area. The Belmont Cragin Community Area North border is Belmont Ave (3200N) from Nashville Ave (6600W) to 4600W and is shared with Portage Park Community Area and Dunning Community Area. The East edge, 4600W, intermittently follows Kenton Ave and spans from Belmont Ave to the Metra Line at 1825N. This border is also common to Hermosa Community Area.
