Garfield Ridge Community Area includes part of Midway Airport and sits along the western city limits. The North boundary begins at Harlem Ave (7200W) and the Metra Heritage Corridor Line, around 5190S, West on the Metra Line to 51st St (5100S) at 7020W, West to Laramie Ave (5200W), North to the Metra Line at 4380S, West to 4834W, North to Pershing Rd/39th St (3900S), and East to the 4600W coordinate (halfway between Kolmar and Knox Aves, eventually Kenton Ave). The East limit, common to South Lawndale Community Area, Archer Heights Community Area, and West Elsdon Community Area, is the 4600W coordinate from 3900S to 59th St (5900S). The South border is 59th St (5900S) from Harlem Ave to Kenton Ave and is shared with Clearing Community Area. The West boundary is Harlem Ave between 59th St and the Metra Heritage Corridor Line.
