Map of Chicago Community Area 36 Oakland		 Oakland Community Area is another lake front area of Chicago nestled between Douglas Community Area to the North and Kenwood Community Area to the South. The North limit of Oakland Community Area follows 35th St (3500S) from the 600E coordinate out to the lake. The West edge begins at 600E on 35th St, moving SW down Vincennes Ave to Pershing Rd (3900S), East to Cottage Grove Ave (800E), and South to 43rd St (4300S). The South Edge is the 4300S coordinate. Grand Boulevard Community Area is the western-most Community Area neighbor.
