The West border, common to Gage Park Community Area and Chicago Lawn Community Area, follows the 2200W coordinate from Garfield Blvd South to 7500S. The South edge, from here, follows 7500W, and the Metra SouthWest Service Line, East to Racine Ave and is common to Auburn Gresham Community Area. The eastern limit, and neighboring Englewood Community Area, is Racine Ave from Garfield Blvd to 7500S.
